3/3/2007 - Howard Town win SIBA National

Following on from its success at the SIBA Midland Beer Competition, Howard Town's Wren's Nest has scooped Gold for Best Bitter at the SIBA National Beer Competition in Leeds on Friday, March 2nd. To the delight (and surprise) of brewers Les Dove and Tony Hulme, the Gold for Supreme Champion Beer followed a few minutes later.

To cope with increased demand, Howard Town have increased their stock of casks by 60%. We now have over 500 casks.

The Old Gloveworks, Glossop, are having a Howard Town Night to celebrate the SIBA Award. All five regular beers will be showcased on Thursday 19/4/2007. Phone the brewery, or the Old Gloveworks on 01457 858432 for more details.
