Where are we ?

Howard Town Brewery is situated in Glossop in the High Peak of Derbyshire. It was located in the former Bridge End Fulling Mill, later to become part of the Howard Town Mill complex - one of the largest in 19th century England. Unfortunately, on April 1st 2006, the mill caught fire. Now we're in Hawkshead Mill, Old Glossop, a rather newer building.

To find us, first find Glossop.
Glossop is on the A57 at the foot of the Snake Pass.
From Glossop town centre follow the A57 towards Sheffield, pass the leisure centre on the right, continue over the mini roundabout to a left turn at the Commercial Pub. This is Manor Park Road. Go along past the park (Manor Park). At the end the road turns to the right by the Queens Pub. Follow the road round, then turn left into Wesley Street. At the end of Wesley Street the road bends to the right again. This is Hope Street. Continue along Hope Street for a hundered metres or so, and you'll see on the left an imposing building. This is us. It's the one with Howard Town Brewery on a large sign. Give us a shout as you come in, in case we're doing anything illegal.
